I am running for Escondido Union School District Trustee Area 3 with experience as an engaged parent classified school employee and lifelong active community member Our communities flourish when active school boards work together with all stakeholders to bring opportunities and solutions to remove the social and academic barriers that have existed since I was a student in this district In my experience I have come to realize that our staff working conditions are our children s learning conditions I believe that our public schools have a great potential to serve our youth of Escondido by engaging in opportunities to allow our schools to be community hubs for our children families and staff so they can become the best versions of themselves regardless of who they are or where they are from because Escondido is for the children
